I am from Augusta and am a graduate of Westside High School. After graduating high school I left the Augusta area for my college experience. I went to South Georgia College for my first two years before transferring to Georgia College and State University to complete my bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2002. I continued my eduation at Cambridge College and received a Masters Degree in General Education in January 2008.

This course is designed to further increase the students’ knowledge of our system of government. By studying various aspects of political and United States history, students will learn about American Government and work towards becoming active citizens.

Economics is a required course for graduation. Students receive ˝ a credit after completion of the course. This course focuses on the American economic system. We will cover essential economic concepts, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economic systems. This course will emphasize the ability to make decisions about public issues and personal finance.
